Miller’s Home Building Centre – Special Events

Miller’s Home Building Centre is pleased to offer special events that take place over the course of the year.  These events are hosted in numerous locations and give the staff at the store a good chance to get to know the customers and contractors in a relaxed atmosphere.  Have a look at past events and if you require more information please feel free to contact one of the friendly staff associates.

Contractors Pancake Breakfast

This even is offered once a year at the community centre in Sauble Beach.  Miller’s Home Building Centre invites a few of the many suppliers that we work closely with each year to show case new and innovative products and top it off by with the staff serving a pancake breakfast.

Ladies Night

Once a year some of the lady staff members of Miller’s Home Building Centre put together a ladies night.  This night is open to our lady customer base only and consists of some fun craft ideas, friendly competitions, and simple do it yourself projects that you can tackle around the house.

Contractor Pro Shows

Miller’s Home Building Centre takes delight in participating in Home Hardware’s Pro Shows.  An afternoon at the Pro Show involves a fun bus ride to the selected location and 3-4 hours walking around the show speaking to different vendors and partaking in different competitions.  This is always a fun event that offers you a great chance to ask specific questions to the product sales reps and a couple lucky contractors always win some pretty nice prizes.

Planning to Build Seminar

Miller’s Home Building Centre hosts the Planning To Build Seminar every spring at the Sauble Beach Community Centre.  The seminar is open to anyone planning to build a new house or cottage in the future.  We bring in a quest speaker, and have specific manufactures reps on site with full displays to answer any questions you might have with the building process.  This is always a well-attended event full of great information, if you are interested in attending please contact Bruce Parson’s the Home and Cottage consultant.

Owen Sound Home Show

Miller’s Home Building Centre always takes part in the Owen Sound Home and Cottage expo hosted at the Bayshore in Owen Sound.  Please feel free to walk the show and stop by our both for a visit.  Every year the show grows and gets better and better and we are proud to be a part of this community event.
